The ‘Crypto Hall of Fame’ Switches to RSK’s Smart Bitcoin Contracts

The Crypto Hall of Fame has switched from the Ethereum to the Bitcoin network, using RSK technology to create smart contracts and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). The first portrait of a digital pioneer which has been minted as a Bitcoin-based NFT is the one of Diego Gutiérrez Zaldívar, who happens to be the founder of RSK. 

The previous 11 portraits of Crypto pioneers such as Satoshi Nakamoto, David Chaum, Nick Szabo or Vitalik Buterin have been minted as ERC 721 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain and will stay like that. For the remaining 10 portraits, the Crypto Hall of Fame will use RSK smart contracts based on Bitcoin.

Call for Entries: Crypto Culture

We will organise a new exhibition in our online 3D gallery and in various cities around the world – and we want YOU to be a part of it.

The topic is: Crypto Culture. What do we mean by this? All those memes and funny expressions that you only understand if you have been around in the crypto space for a while – things like HODL, Honey Badger, Satoshi, Lambo, To the Moon, you name it.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a book, see the cover below.

Interview with Gus Grillasca

For the first episode of our video show Café Moonmartre we have interviewed the Mexican crypto artist Gus Grillasca. He has been involved in the international crypto art movement for some years. Besides creating his own artworks, he also gives talks and seminars about crypto technology and crypto art. In this interview he presents some of his own works and speaks about how NFTs improve the situation of artists.
