On May 30th, 2021, Tulum (Mexico) will be the centre of the crypto art world. Together with our partner Papaya Playa Project we will host the Crypto Art Fair Tulum with presentations and workshops about Crypto Art and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).
We will organise a new exhibition in our online 3D gallery and we want YOU to be a part of it.
The topic is: Crypto Culture. What do we mean by this? All those memes and funny expressions that you only understand if you have been around in the crypto space for a while – things like HODL, Honey Badger, Satoshi, Lambo, To the Moon, you name it.
For the third episode of our video show Café Moonmartre we have interviewed the US American crypto artist Johnny Dollar. Besides creating his own artworks, he also curates crypto art shows and gives talks about crypto art. In this interview he presents some of his own works and talks about privacy, copyright law and his experience with Virtual Reality.
Our artist Max Cryptohead has created this video based on his painting Satoshi Nakamoto, the first picture of his series 21 Heads. It also contains footage from an interview that Aaron Koenig conducted with the “Newsweek Satoshi” Dorian S. Nakamoto at the Latin American Bitcoin Conference in Bogotá, Colombia in December 2017. You can buy it as an NFT (Edition of 7).
For the first episode of our video show Café Moonmartre we have interviewed the Mexican crypto artist Gus Grillasca. He has been involved in the international crypto art movement for some years. Besides creating his own artworks, he also gives talks and seminars about crypto technology and crypto art.
