The topic is: Crypto Culture. What do we mean by this? All those memes and funny expressions that you only understand if you have been around in the crypto space for a while – things like HODL, Honey Badger, Satoshi, Lambo, To the Moon, you name it.
For this episode of our crypto art show Café Moonmartre we have interviewed the Canadian crypto art collector and entrepreneur Steve Wand. He runs his own gallery BitBuzz in the virtual world Decentraland, as well as the Digitible Building which hosts events and exhibitions.
His new venture Not Fungible offers exclusive artworks from well-known crypto artists. It is also an incubator which helps new artists succeed in the crypto space.
For the third episode of our video show Café Moonmartre we have interviewed the US American crypto artist Johnny Dollar. Besides creating his own artworks, he also curates crypto art shows and gives talks about crypto art. In this interview he presents some of his own works and talks about privacy, copyright law and his experience with Virtual Reality.
Our artist Max Cryptohead has created this video based on his painting Satoshi Nakamoto, the first picture of his series 21 Heads. It also contains footage from an interview that Aaron Koenig conducted with the “Newsweek Satoshi” Dorian S. Nakamoto at the Latin American Bitcoin Conference in Bogotá, Colombia in December 2017. You can buy it as an NFT (Edition of 7).
The second episode of our video show Café Moonmartre is a short report of the Crypto Art & VR Show which took place in Miami during Miami Blockchain Week on January 29th, 2021. This event at the Bitmining Market in Wynwood featured an introduction to crypto art by Johnny Dollar, an exhibition of portraits of crypto pioneers by Max Cryptohead, a talk about Virtual Reality and a VR exhibition.
